Women Empowerment: Establishment of 200 Vocational Training Centers all over Pakistan

This project was initiated in January 2017, with the aim of providing employment to the under privileged women of Pakistan. It was meant to provide a source of income to these women who were struggling in the vicous poverty cycle.This project was an extension of the Empowered Women Empowered Pakistan Project, which was aimed a nation wide project aimed at establishing vocational training centers, for teaching dress design, tailoring including drafting, cutting and stitching to students, mainly women. This course is registered with National Training Bureau viz a viz it conforms to regulatory quality assurance standards. Upon course completion all graduating students are given certifications in affiliation with National Training Bureau. Also for the first 43 centers; once the course was complete, the sewing machines procured for the purpose of teaching were handed over to the students free of cost.So far we have established 50 vocational training centers with 5 running centers in very remote locations of Sindh and Baluchistan.
These VTCs have been established under Grant with NBP all over Pakistan including areas like the northern parts of AJK namely Demote Valley Gilgit Baltistan. As well as Pishin, Ziarat, Khushlakh, Khanozai, Jafirabad, Jacobabad, in Baluchistan, Tarnawa Haripur, Taxila, Swat, Bannu, Peshawar, Chitral, Mardan and Chameli in KPK and in Punjab these camps were established in the areas of Bhakkar, Jhang, Chakwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Dhok Kala Khan, Dhok Chaudhrian, Manzarabad, Christian Colony, Ghareebabad, Balouch Colony and Kachi Abaddi, Rawalpindi and in Sindh this activity was carried out in Mithrio Charan Tharparker
