We hope that this project is successful and provides an opportunity for growth and development at institutional public-private cooperation and partnership (Dr. Fauzia Moghees, Executive Coordinator NHSD)

On 21 August 2025, Network for Human and Social Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Air University with a focus on joint collaborations that was focusing on public-private partnerships and academia-corporate partnerships.’

The project objectives are as follows:

  1. To create a long-term partnership in order to bridge the gap between academia and corporate sector.
  2. To develop industry-academia linkage in the areas of mutual interest.
  3. To conduct applied and industrial research in identified areas (agriculture research and AI tech integration in agriculture, women empowerment, youth empowerment).
  4. To anticipate and fulfill Human capital needs of the industry. 
  5. To help students of both AU and NHSD, the future young professionals, equip themselves with the right set of professional knowledge & industry practice (Both ways industrial/academia trends in future technology exposure).
  6. To provide students of both AU and NHSD industrial exposure and experiences in order to bridge the gap.
  7. To strengthen R&D functions of industry by offering low cost/free solutions.
  8. To develop a plan for execution of agreed activities.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of Air University and Network for Human and Social Development.

Network for Human and Social Development was represented by

  4. Manager (Human Resource)
  5. Manager (Trainings)

Air University also provided a tour of the facilities already established in their E-9 Campus where the signing ceremony was undertaken, and highlighted the support of the graduating apprentices towards converting their vision into a reality.

Network for Human and Social Development looks forward to this opportunity which will help provide an opportunity for growth of youth empowerment, technical skill development, resolving education indicators, and improved academia-corporate relations that will lead to sustainable research that is beneficial at an industrial capacity.
