Give2Asia Grant for COVID 19; Food Ration Distribution, Mask Distribution and COVID 19 Training for Health Careworkers

NHSD and Give2Asia Raised Grant and Donation Revenue of nearly USD 12,000. The utilizations of these funds was to aid in the following ways, during the COVID 19 Pandemic, in Pakistan:
- Supporting National Public health priorities through 10 awareness raising sessions about Crimean Congo Haemorrhagic Fever and COVID 19 prevention by providing training in hand washing techniques and standardized usage of masks and gloves, to vulnerable communities surrounding Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
- Distribution of food rations to 200 vulnerable families of the Hindu minority community of Mithrio Suttar, Tharparker, 100 families in the remote valley of Reshun Village Chitral, 100 families in Muzaffrabad and 100 families in Multan.
- Generating means of Socio economic sustenance for 100 of our trained girls from NHSD vocational training centers, through market linkages and orders in Pishin, Ziarat, Khanozai and Khushlak in Baluchistan, Tharparker and Rawalpindi. To help them raise income during these draconian times. The products made from the material provided will be sold in the display and production center in Rawalpindi.
- Psycho-social counseling of 50 key health care providers for improving their mental health and addressing the psycho social concerns.
