NBP- NHSD: 200 Free Medical Camps all over Pakistan

NBP-NHSD Free Medical Camp
There was a need for the provision of medical services in the remote areas of Pakistan, owing to a lack of BHUs and shortage of doctors in the region. Also, these area are poverty-stricken and find it difficult to afford transport to nearby major cities.
Nearly 200 Free medical. Gynaecological, Obstetric and eye camp were established all over Pakistan including areas like the northern parts of AJK namely Demote Valley Gilgit Baltistan. As well as Pishin, Ziarat, Khushlakh, Khanozai, Jafirabad, Jacobabad, in Baluchistan, Tarnawa Haripur, Taxila, Swat, Bannu, Peshawar, Chitral, Mardan and Chameli in KPK and in Punjab these camps were established in the areas of Bhakkar, Jhang, Chakwal, Multan, BahawalpurDhok Kala Khan, Dhok Chaudhrian, Manzarabad, Christian Colony, Ghareebabad, Balouch Colony and Kachi Abaddi, Rawalpindi and in Sindh this activity was carried out in Mithrio Charan Tharparker
This free medical camp was funded by the National Bank of Pakistan. These camps helped us in providing Health facilities to more than approx.1400 patients per camp per day. We have a presence in this region as well, whilst acting in the capacity of implementing partners to NBP in helping them to achieve their development targets.
NHSD being the implementing partner ensures that all vulnerable communities get free medical treatment in these remote areas so as to meet the Sustainable Development Goal of Health.
