Network for Human and Social Development and King Baudouin Foundation, Belgium signed an agreement on 12 December 2022 agreeing to assist the flood affectees of Sindh. The project duration is one year, in which NHSD will be responsible for the distribution of cooked meals, food rations, quilts, and the reconstruction of 100 homes, 10 schools, 10 vocational training centers, and 10 dispensaries in Tharparkar. The project aims to improve the livelihood, health and educational conditions of flood affectees residing in five villages of Tharparkar Tehsil Chachro.
Currently NHSD has distributed cooked meals, food rations and quilts in village Mithrio Charan, Tehsil Charan, District Tharparkar in Sindh. The distribution has been successful and has assisted 65 families.
NHSD will conduct a need-based survey in five villages of Tharparkar to determine livelihood, health, and education circumstances of the people.
