Network for Human and Social Development in collaboration with Riphah University and NextGenU Canada has enrolled three batches for the certificate courses in Public Health. Two of these batches were given in-person lectures in Riphah University premises by NHSD lectures. The lectures were on Health Administration, Patient Safety, Quantitative and Qualitative Methods of Study Design, and Leadership in Public Health. Students completed the course-related modalities by enrolling on to the NextGenU platform from where they completed assignments as well as pre- and post-tests of the topics.

The third batch was taught online as students had enrolled from far off districts such as Tharparkar and Bannu. In all three batches, training sessions were conducted where they were taught about the fundamental principles of disaster management, basic first aid, as well as safety and security.

The course length is one month in which students attended one lecture per week (total four lectures) and were given a comprehensive overview of the course layout, key milestones of the topics and potential learning objectives to be achieved by the end of the course. The lecturers for the courses are:

Shehroze Ameen: Health Management, Public Health Leadership, Patient Safety, Qualitative and Quantitative Methods of Study Design

Fauzia Moghees: Health Management, Patient Safety, Public Health Leadership.
