Network for Human and Social Development successfully completed their One Year Diploma in Information Technology Technical Training Course. This course was funded by individual donors as well as through Globalgiving campaigns and the support of La Compte. This course has been focused towards the empowerment of apprentices, especially female apprentices, with technical skills that will help them as freelancers and in various IT sector jobs. This technical training course focused on basic computers, Office Suite (Microsoft Office 365 Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access), Graphic Designing (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Coraldraw Graphic Suite), and Web Designing (using Adobe Dreamweaver for HTML JS CSS PHP Object Oriented PHP, as well as Microsoft Visual Studio with C++ and C#, Python). These apprentices were also given training on how to complete their tasks as freelancers and were also taught freelancing ethics and practical approaches.
NHSD also shared their appreciation of La Compte, individual donors, and GlobalGiving, through whom all of this was made possible.
